Album Notes
Tim is a father, teacher, storyteller, songwriter and performer. Most of all Tim loves to play - play music, play ball, play with his children, play games, play in the backyard, and play at the pond. With his wife, three boys, student, colleagues, friends and fans, Tim has found many ways to share the joys of creating, imagining and playing. Here To Play are songs about all the wonders of childhood and the many directions traveled by playful persons.

The lyrics give children license to enjoy themselves, dance and sing along while allowing adults to re-experience their own childhood. The music is equally playful with a full compliment of instruments including piano, guitar, bass and drums on most tracks. Banjolin, mandolin, harmonica, juice harp, tenor guitar, clarinet, saxophone, flute, trumpet and trombone are sprinkled throughout the album to compliment the lyrics and to help paint additional layers on the musical canvas.

The cover art tells an additional story. This CD is for all who want to play. Music, story and play are ubiquitous and inclusive. As you listen to the songs think about those who are different from yourself and experience the songs from a variety of viewpoints. Enjoy - Because we are Here To Play!!!
