Album Notes
Do you hear a soaring vocal melody, a lyric that is fresh yet world-wise, a catchy groove that is smooth and begs to be played again? Chances are you're listening to Tina Lovejoy, whose songs have been described as "a combination of delicacy and power" and "gemstones of the art".

Washington-state native Tina Lovejoy is an acoustic piano-based singer/songwriter in the modern pop format whose self-published debut album is "Tell Me". Lovejoy utilizes the piano's lush line while incorporating a guitarist's sensibility to her playing. Lyrically, topics range from relational and spiritual love in "Today" and "I Can't Wait" to navigating the waters of everyday life in "Fishbowl".

After a stint at the highly acclaimed Tanglewood music program in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, Tina headed to Boston University to pursue her passion for opera. She continued her studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. But a new direction was needed. Music was still the focus, but this time the songs would be hers.

Through performances at concerts, coffeehouses, and college groups, Tina has honed her craft and begun her foray into a whole new medium of music.

What's next for Tina Lovejoy? She says it best: "Writing, performing and recording. This is my calling. This is the way I sift through that thing called life. These songs are my way of reminding myself what's important, what's true, what will last."
