ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I've played in Tibetan Monasteries, powwows, ceremonies and concert halls such as the Lincoln Centre, the Apollo Theatre, Symphony Space, Madison Square Garden, cathedrals, canyons, mountain tops, and various venues throughout the world - Japan, Sweden, England, France, Germany, Morocco, Costa Rica, Peru, Canada, Poland, Switzerland, Columbia, Portugal, India, Brazil, Wales, and more. So yeah, this music is universal and instrumental in taking me to places I could never conceive of when I started from the Cheyenne River Lakota Nation playing along the banks of the Missouri River (Mnisose) and among the trees of Hesapa (the Black Hills) of South Dakota - the geographical centre of Turtle Island (North America).

So what inspires this avant-garde Lakota flute?

I think "From The Continuum" is like something that can't be considered 'normal or abnormal' or just plain different. Here, this album, is an example of off the cuff, tongue-in-cheek (clichés!! to non-clichéd) non-binary espousing of memory.

The Arrival has begun. It has to… now. It has been here and you will not be able to understand it with the language that I am speaking with you now. Mostly, because the language I’m speaking to you with has only conceptual understanding and cannot hold the completeness of consciousness given to certain beings that have been adhering to the intercession for the rest of the beings of life, and their languages that understand the calling. A multidiscipline of languages that can only be of pure energy, unfettered without programming of the binary human. Even with this language it would be hard to discern due to its subject and objective noun laden concepts. In the language of Lakota (the language that decodes this one I’m writing to you in) has not a need for concepts and is a continuum from the Original Existence. It is outside the mind of discrimination and cannot be ridiculed in the vernacular of spatial but rather those who belittle these words only belittle their own binary-minded existence with the rationale of it. Tiokasin Ghosthorse said that....

So there you have it. It's like this album you're reading about. It's not describable in certain words. It just needs to be played. Simple and pure with an excellent sound system.
