Tiziano Tononi and his band (special guest the great Joe Fonda on double and electric bass) driven by strong cross-genre inspirations and motivations pay homage in a particular way to the legendary Allman Brothers Band, a band that was heavily influenced by electric blues and black music in its roots but that moved fast towards extended jams, jazzy atmospheres and improvised long solos.
Tiziano Tononi deliver great new renditions of Allman's classics, some new original music, leaves the guitars out and invents an original mix of avant jazz and rock blues music, in a never listened before new interpretation of a great piece of American rock music! this is the band, all great and revered and seasoned players from the Italian avant jazz scene:
