Album Notes
Tim McFarland is a singer/songwriter/guitarist, whose unique style is a mixture of classic rock, blues rock, jazz rock and country/folk rock characterized by uncommon, multi-part vocal harmonies and guitar harmonies a la Allman Brothers, Steely Dan, and Freddy Jones.

His songs cover a wide range of moods and thoughts from the simple expression of unrequited love in Summer Shine, the anomie and alienation of Los Angeles in Cement Rivers to the driving rock of Dream On. Sometimes disgustingly positive as in Sun's Gonna Shine Again or going through a spiritual transition as in Endless Journey, the music and lyrics promise to take you to places within yourself that may not have been visited for quite awhile.

Tim plays lead guitar for a Southern California group called Coastal Eddy and also plays backup lead and rhythm guitar in The Dave McGinn Blues Band.

This CD, Early Works is a solo venture put together to feature his original material that has been gathering dust on the shelf for what seems like way too long.
