Album Notes
Catholic guitarist Todd Duane pays homage to one of his favorite guitarists-Robben Ford, on this Blues Jazz song entitled “Stolen Ford.” Where overdubs and multiple tracks of instruments are the norm these days, this song takes a fresh, minimalist approach and features just one guitar, bass and drums. There are no double tracked guitars on this song. (I’m not saying that’s a bad thing.) The melody is self sufficient with one guitar - nothing else is needed. Supplying the percussive groove is the extremely talented and busy Scott Chabot. Watch the streets for that ‘57 Ford. She’s a beauty!
