Todd Hobin Band

by Todd Hobin Band

Their first album is straight out of the 70s with a bit of Country and lots of vocals in their Classic Rock style. It's romantic, intimate, joyous, and a throw back to a simpler time in America.

Album Notes
The Todd Hobin Band celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2014. The original members continue to play to a dedicated and growing fan base, delivering the legendary performances that made them one of rock’s hardest working, well-traveled bands. The music is distinctly American, melodic, driving, and powerful. They’ve played thousands of shows and have shared the stage with the greatest bands of their time from The Beach Boys and Kinks, to the Allman Brothers and Hall & Oates.

Their recently released double CD set, The Early Years is filled with Hobin classics: I Hate You, Keepin’ the Dream Alive, New York Country Song, and many more. Their latest album, It’s Not Over continues in the same tradition; critically acclaimed, rocking, thoughtful and uncompromising. They remain a closely held treasure to those who know their music.

Before the release in 1978 of their self-titled TODD HOBIN BAND album, the band spent four years traveling through the Northeastern US and Canada playing smoky bars and high school dances. Once this album hit the airwaves everything changed. There is innocence in these tracks. There is love and hope that stands the test of time.
