Album Notes
Todd Walton and Marcia Sloane got married while making this album, and every song testifies to their joy at finding each other and being together. These danceable love songs are a marvelous melding of their distinct musical predilections. Todd—guitar, piano, vocals—loves jazz piano, Celtic swing, and soulful female vocalists. Marcia—cello and vocals—loves Brazilian, Indian, Hawaiian, and swinging tunes from around the world.

When Light Is Your Garden is a roller coaster ride through the geography of love, with mountains of spirit, valleys of longing, rivers of passion, and oceans of joy.

Hear more of Marcia Sloane’s contemporary classical new age world fusion cello on her CD Skyward. And play or meditate with her CD of acoustic Cello Drones for Tuning and Improvisation.

Todd’s three CDs of hilarious and poignant short stories are: I Remember You (with cello interludes by Marcia), Buddha In A Teacup, and I Steal My Bicycle.
