ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Tohoboho is the latest project from Nick Arthur (previous release Safe House from 2016). Nick is a British electronica artist creating from a rural studio in the county of Kent, south-east England.

Tohoboho is a deep-listening, other-worldly blend of organic instruments and electronics. It includes vocal samples sourced from the Middle East and Eastern Europe. There are Ambient & Post-rock influences at play, as well as hints of retro Jazz & Fusion - all absorbed from a lifelong hunger for the far reaches of recorded music from the last seven decades of sonic exploration. Timbre and mood share equal billing with melody here.

And for the curious amongst you, "Hamburgerhonkhonk" is what happens when your youngest son gets to name a track!
(When we travel on London's DLR line, the next station will usually be announced as Hamburgerhonkhonk...)

I hope this offering brings your ears and brain much pleasure.

Nick.
