Album Notes
My oldest memory of any kind is of music. I was only about three years old, so the scene is fuzzy around the edges, but in hindsight I realize that this is a memory of being in church. Not tall enough to see over the pew, I sat in awe, immersed in the sound of the invisible pipe organ and choir.

Then, after we came home from church, I went to the piano in the living room. My mother picked me up and put me on the bench, because it was too high for me to climb up on, and, with one finger, I figured out the melodies of the hymns.

From there, it was just a short step to making up my own melodies. I understand now that I was trying to make myself feel the same awe that I felt in church. In an innocent way, I was discovering inspiration for the first time.

That was the beginning of my musical journey, and also the beginning of a spiritual journey, although I didn't know it at the time.

Many years later I wanted to revisit those hymns and try to reawaken the feeling that I had when I was just three years old. Some of the tracks on "Offering" are arrangements of the very same hymns that I first heard long ago, and some are original compositions inspired by my earliest memories of music.

Absolutely Beautiful. I use Tom's Cd to study to and listen to while I write. Devotional. Worshipful.

Mary R Costantino (Berard)

Great job! Aunt Grace had said that you put out something, so I searched for it. I always did like your music.

Listen. Now.
My favorite pieces on this album are the ones that have velocity, like "When the Morning Stars Sang Together" and "All the Creatures of Our God and King." They just tear out of the gate, and I can feel Bajoras' fingers rip along the keys. Also, I enjoy the way his melodies evolve within the song, as he adds permutations until it becomes something new, then he brings it back around.

But overall, wonderful precision, symphonically complex, and very heartfelt. It's the type of CD that makes you want to turn off the lights and lie on the floor and soak up the sound.

A Rare Treat
This artist infuses his music with depth, beauty, and emotion. You cannot help but be moved, even if you have never heard the piece before. It's a special album that you will want to listen to frequently. Lastly, if you get a chance to hear Tom Bajoras in person, take it!

Tom Bajoras is an extremely talented composer and performer. His music is passionate and stirs the soul.

Offering is one of the most spiritual and inspiring albums I've heard. It awakens the soul's yearning to reach toward God, as He reaches eternally toward His children.

All of our children also love this album, as do the neighbors we've shared it with. We keep this CD by our bedside so that we can fall asleep to it, and we play it during long road trips to soothe and calm the children. Our older children who play piano are begging for sheet music so that they may play this beautiful music as well.

This is a masterpiece, Tom. We can't hardly wait for you to come out with more!

Brian Godawa

I am a piano solo junkie. Michael Jones, David Lanz, George Winston, Liz Story, Paul Cardall, Suzanne Ciani, Mia Jang, Michael Gettel, Vicki Emerson and on and on. "Offering" by Tom Bajoras is one of my top ten favorites out of hundreds. He has passion constrained within order that creates beautiful memorable melodies and heartfelt emotional responses of joy, melancholy and peace. Thank you, Tom, for making piano instrumental a spiritual experience that reflects the wonder and beauty of our Creator.

Lisa Yen (aka Tom's wife)

One of my favorite albums EVER!!! I find the music to be incredibly inspiring. From the very first time I ever heard the Fingerprint of God (before I ever met or knew Tom), the piece always brings me to tears. The music seems to speak directly to my heart in a way that no words can. Despite my 12 years of piano lessons, I cannot even begin to create music like this. This is truly a gift.

P.S. Of course I would give a great review as Tom's wife! :D

Mary King

Beautiful new arrangements of familar classics stirs one's soul to a deeper connection with the eternal, and reawakens a sense of joy and peace. Excellent for unwinding in the midst of traffic congestion, but best experienced in the evening, reclined on the sofa, lights down with candles, and a very good glass of red wine.

An inspiration!
Oops! Somehow, I messed up on the first review...I meant to give it the MOST number of stars possible! I would give it a zillion stars if I could. Tom's music is such an inspiration. You just have to hear it. It's even better live--watching Tom play is so much fun because he is incredibly expressive. His music always speaks directly to my soul.

Joel Pelsue

Tom's playing is always food for the soul. I love his live performances, and it is wonderful to finally have a CD of his music. There are a lot of pianists out there, but Tom has a wonderfully unique voice and passion that is always refreshing.
