Album Notes
Another Soundtracks album??? Yes. Once again, I offer a potpourri of tunes well-suited as theme songs, incidental music cues, or end credit music for a variety of films, whether from a major studio or a small indie project.

The music ranges across a wide region of the planet for its inspirations. Den Lengste Vinter Natt paints a picture of a frozen Scandinavian landscape; Sueño Cubano is a happy song of the warmer climes of the western hemisphere; Enek A Stilo Romani is based on a Hungarian Gypsy mode, which was brought to Eastern Europe by émigres from the Middle East, who also took their music to Spain during their trans-African migration.

Soundtracks IV offers a driving Sports theme as well as an equally pulsing News Theme, both perfectly timed for use on TV or internet broadcasts. Lower East Side is a nod to vintage TV detective theme songs, and Happy Times is a simple, catchy tune that stands on its own.

Three is Not a Crowd and Smooth Ride offer a chance to waltz, while Feral Dance, and Vocalise let the electric guitar sing in full voice. Several efforts belong to the Sci-Fi genre, and a one or two are just simply pretty romantic melodies.

All in all, this eclectic collection of music is offered “for your approval” as Mr. Serling would say. Enjoy the variety.
