ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

Barefoot Tommy Biker Trash is a completely fictional character and story. Any resemblance to any real people, places, or situations is purely coincidental.

The Story:
This chapter of the story starts out with our Hero doing what he loves best, riding motorcycles and partying. He brings his riding buddies home to meet the misses and stay and party. In true biker fashion he tells the ol’ lady very little.
The next day he shows his buddies around the neighborhood, one of the toughest in the city, and some of the shenanigans that go on in it, of course all this is done while partying.
After partying late into the evening he returns home to find out the kitty went out to play and did not come home. He wakes the next day and starts to party alone waiting on the return of the kitty. Finally she shows up and our hero jets out on his café racer to party in town with friends while he is home.
He realizes it is August and the Sturgis rally is going on, so he loads up the bike and heads out. At Sturgis he finds lots of lines for everything and gets disgruntled, Dilagaf is the only word he speaks that day. Fortunately that night there was some fine picking going on at the camp site which adjusted his attitude, along with a dose of partying.
Again at the camp site there are shenanigans going on and it reminds him when he used to live across from the notorious corner of Crack and Hoe, you know the corner, every city and town has one with all types of crazy things going on. While partying some one tells the story of Biker Trash, that was the last thing our hero remembers. While partying someone hits him in the head from behind and knocks him out.
He wakes up in jail for a crime he did not commit and contemplates his situation. The scales of justice are balanced out in time and our hero is released from jail after DNA evidence was found to clear him.
Again fortune did not favor him for after he got out of jail, he looses a good friend and brother and had to bury him. If you didn't know, a biker funeral my have fist fights and shootings and other assorted shenanigans. After everyone settles down at the celebration of life party, our hero faces the fact that it is up to him to make his own life happen.
The next day starts with our hero being invited out to a party, and when he arrives, the address appears to be a telephone box, the door opens and it is bigger on the inside. He shuffles in and parties with all the strange creatures he finds. This portion of the story closes with our hero riding off into the sunset.

Behind the story:
Barefoot Tommy is a fictional character I began developing a couple of decades ago, most of the songs gathered here have been on my desk for 10 years or so. Assembling the album my wife continually asked me "Haven't you released that yet" being she had been listening to these songs almost as long as I have.
Barefoot Tommy is a biker that loves to party and listen to music. He travels all over the world riding his motorcycle, attending rally's and Rock and Roll shows. He makes a little money on the side playing music and bouncing at bars which allows him the easy life. His Ol' lady does all the working, paying the rent and taking care of the youngins' herself. When he drinks too much he doesn't give a crap about anything or anyone, and did I mention he likes to party. This is a small chapter of the saga of Barefoot Tommy Biker Trash and I am sure we will be seeing more of him in the future.
This album was going to be my first album released in 2014, but at the time I lacked the recording tools and skills to be happy with the project. "Barefoot Tommy Biker Trash" is my eighth studio release and I am glad I waited to release this album and keep recording. The seven studio albums I have released prepared me to finally complete this project.
"Rumblin' Roads" and "Make your Groovy Happen" appear on other albums but belong right here on the album they were originally written for. There was a time I thought I would never finish the album and released a couple of the tunes that where finished. We reworked them just a bit with our new recording gear to freshen them up a bit.
The album is all over the music spectrum with Pop, Rock, Blues, Funk, Country, and Bluegrass styles. We introduced two new instruments that I play on a song in this album, Banjo, and Mandolin. And Yes I did write, perform, record, and produce this album myself as I have for the past albums.
I hope you enjoy listening to as much as I do.

The cover art is a selfie taken at the Buffalo Chip Camp grounds 2009 Sturgis Rally on a solo trip from Florida..

LYRICS:
Diggin' the Ride
You don't got to go
you could stay right here
It don't matter What ya got to go
as long as the motor gets us there

My Ol' Lady
Sometimes words just don't say it

My Neighborhood
This is my neighborhood People laugh people cry people live and die all in all this is my neighborhood
This is my neighborhood Telephones ring children sing puttin' in work to show off their bling
People laugh people cry people live and die all in all this is my neighborhood
Don't come around acting all up tight You ain't gonna take it without a fight puttin' in work to show off their bling
People laugh people cry people live and die all in all this is my neighborhood
This is my neighborhood People laugh people cry people live and die all in all this is my neighborhood

Evil Webs We Weave
Just as day turns to night night turns to day We don't question it - it just happens that way
A story that's told that never gets old been here as long as time
Just a fly on the wall you think you seen it all it's just a matter of time
Well he don't love her and she don't love him a couple of kids to add to the spin
A House some cars friends and family too just to many people to report to
We don't question it it just happens that way
She says she is going out with the girls he knows it's going to be a tequila shot world
He says he's going out with the guys and he winds up at the booty house it's no surprise
Just as day turns to night night turns to day We don't question it it just happens that way
In the evil webs we weave
I'm talking to you
What ya gonna do

Bad Kitty
I used to have a kitty that was young and sweet
Prettiest kitty you could ever see
Always clean always fine that kitty really blew my mind
Then came a day She when out to play
Didn't come back all night yea I knew something wasn't right
What you gonna do when the kitty goes bad
What you gonna do when the kitty goes bad
Came home next day after noon Yea she took me for a fool
But I'm gonna let her back in I don't care where she's been
What you gonna do when the kitty goes bad
What you gonna do when the kitty goes bad

Rumblin' Roads
When life gets you down you don't want to hang around
Get your face in the wind bugs in the teeth from the smile
You can always count on your motorcycle
Leaning into the turns floorboards scraping the ground
You heart pumps from the thrill and avoiding the town
Just give that Rumblin' Road

Dilagaf
Clad and chrome leather and a dome
Anywhere I lay my hat is my home
Everywhere on two wheels I will roam
Any place I can find my stone
There are just three things on my mind
and I think about them all the time
Sex-n-Drugs-n-Rock and Roll is all I need for my troubled soul
So DILIGAF
You ask me what I think and I say DILIGAF
Brutally Honest Sometimes never clean
Everywhere on two wheels I will roam
any place I can find my stone
Everywhere I go I find myself waiting in line you know
You ask me what I think and I say DILIGAF
I say DILIGAF
You ask me what I think and I say DILIGAF
Clad and chrome leather and a dome
Anywhere I lay my hat is my home
Everywhere on two wheels I will roam
any place I can find my stone
There are just three things on my mind
and I think about them all the time
Sex-n-Drugs-n-Rock and Roll is all I need for my troubled soul
So I say DILIGAF
DILIGAF

Trisexuality
You know you meet the nicest people on the road sometimes
You get to sit down and party with some
Sometimes the conversations are tame
Once in a while they could get pretty risque
Like the time I met a couple at a biker event I was playing
We were drinking and caring on just fine when she said
Trisexuality you know it works for him and me
You ought to check it out you see Trisexuality
Trisexuality Oh just for the hell of it
You gotta check into it go on just try a bit
She said where not gay and where not bi but we'll give anything a try
Yea you could jump right in - Aw hell everyboby
Trisexuality you know it works for him and me
You ought to check it out you see Trisexuality
Trisexuality hey you know it's free that's why it works for me
Trisexuality you know it works for him and me
You ought to check it out you see Trisexuality
Trisexuality Oh just for the hell of it
You gotta check into it go on just try a bit

Crack-N-Hoe
Crack-N-Hoe Crack-N-Hoe Standing on the corner of Crack-N-Hoe
Ain't no place you want to go standing on the corner of Crack-N-Hoe
Crack-N-Hoe Crack-N-Hoe Standing on the corner of Crack-N-Hoe
Ain't no place you want to be that's a fact now definitely
I used to live across from Crack-N-Hoe in a 18 story
Down below use to see the John's come and go
Well they'd get a little here get a little there get a little everywhere
They don't care as long as they got a dollar to spare
Crack-N-Hoe Crack-N-Hoe Standing on the corner of Crack-N-Hoe
Ain't no place you want to go standing on the corner of Crack-N-Hoe
Crack-N-Hoe Crack-N-Hoe Standing on the corner of Crack-N-Hoe
Ain't no place you want to be that's a fact now definitely
Nothing ever good came from Crack-N-Hoe And everyboby wants you to really know
That ain't no place you want to go
Well you might not come back in one piece
Well you might come back with a disease
Well you might not come back with any teeth OH
Crack-N-Hoe Crack-N-Hoe Standing on the corner of Crack-N-Hoe
Ain't no place you want to go standing on the corner of Crack-N-Hoe
Crack-N-Hoe Crack-N-Hoe Standing on the corner of Crack-N-Hoe
Ain't no place you want to be that's a fact now definitely

Biker Trash
Twas the story of Biker Trash he did not have a lot of cash
So he got him an old surplus trike that he would fix up every night
Now he had a job payed OK it was hauling trash away
Had a cart he hooked to the back so he could carry all the sacks
Had a sign on the side that said we'll haul anything away for cash
That's the legion of Biker Trash
Well that's how I heard it anyway

Paying for another mans sins
Seems like all my life I've been Paying for another mans sins
It started out when I was born you see
A poor male child from the wrong side of town
Nothing I can do about it now
It started with my mother I was born of my father
My last three wives where kinda insane
Seems like all my life I've been Paying for another mans sins every time it goes down
Everywhere I turned Everywhere I looked
They just kept it as a close book
Seems I'm always Paying for another mans sins every time it goes down
But you know I rode on
I've been Paying for another mans sins ain't right you know that's the way it goes
Now I'm sitting here in a cell don't know how the hell I got here
All I remember is drinking with friends some one hit me from behind
I didn''t drink that much to be out of my mind I woke up here in this cell
They tell me it's bad
Well I know I mighta done some things you know but I know I didn't kill that man
No matter what they say no matter what they do no matter anyway
So I'm sitting in this cell wondering what the hell what have I done to say
Seems like I'm Paying for another mans sins again
Paying for another mans sins don't you know I want it to just end
Paying for another mans sins

Last Ride Home
It doesn't seem so long ago we where growing up you know
We'ed get into all kinds of mischief together whatever
We where always there to help each other
Through the years you loose touch but you know some times that's the way it goes
life gets in the way of living sometimes ain't no denying there ain't no surprise
So many times I carried you home on my shoulder
Always the life of the party you see
And I never thought it would come to this when I'm carrying you home like this
On the last ride home
They gave you a guitar pick can of beer bottle of wine
A bottle of jack you know that was fine
I gave you my best pair of blue rays to see you off in style
Then we lovered you down and began to cry
It was the last ride home

Make your Groovy Happen
Wake up and smile it's a brand new day shower and dress get on your way
People singing and moving their feet walking down the street to the shuffle of the beat of the city
Don't you know it's up to you up to you to make your groovy happen
Don't you know it's up to you up to you to make your groovy happen
Smile and wave it's OK not to much more that you need to say
When your walking down the street to the shuffle of the beat of the city
Don't you know it's up to you up to you to make your groovy happen
Don't you know it's up to you up to you to make your groovy happen
Well now there's people shoving and a pushing on the streets
And there is nowhere to go but nowhere
Oh but they don't care they just got to get in front of you
Got to let you know
Don't you know it's up to you up to you to make your groovy happen
Don't you know it's up to you up to you to make your groovy happen
