Album Notes
Often inspired by his own time in the saddle, Tom Swearingen writes cowboy poetry ranging from the humorous to serious and reflective. "Horses and Happiness" covers that spectrum.
Tom's poems have been featured by "Cowboys & Indians Magazine" and recognized by such organizations as the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in Ft. Worth, Texas, and South Dakota’s Heritage of the American West. Several of his poems have been published, and he is a popular performer at cowboy gatherings, western events, and with general audiences.
