ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Growing up in rural Wisconsin, Tom Thiel had an interest in music from an early age. In the 5th grade he made an instrument out of a piece of wood with different sized nails pounded into it “tuning” the nails by driving them into the wood at different depths. He has since written and recorded songs with several bands and has traveled the Midwest playing bars and clubs for years.

Tom has always loved the process of songwriting equating it to putting together an invisible puzzle of sound and words. He has a penchant for writing songs that can tell a story with subtle imagery and his style is recognizable by open guitar tunings and hints of influences such as Chris Whitley and Led Zeppelin.
