I have been a fan of Elvis and Johnny Cash for many years. I also like the Gene Autry approach to music.

Album Notes
This is a song I wrote and recorded with a real orchestra about 1972. I was living in Las Vegas, NV at that time. The orchestra was lead by Art Mancini. He was Henry's cousin. The song was written during a time when I was traveling to Los Angeles and Hollywood about once a month. I noticed the hitchhikers who often carried guitars. I decided to write a song about what I imagined to be what they might be thinking. This is it. My label in those days was Freeway Records which I started in 1956.
