Album Notes
I've always been fascinated with music. The very idea of assembling notes, chords, melodies, tempos, lyrics, passion, and soul together to create something that previously didn’t exist is an incredible undertaking.

As a child I dreamed of being a musical star. Some of my first encounters with the art form came as a result of a gift from my Dad around the age of 7, He gave me a Sears and Roebucks record player complete with a stack of 45’s of various Capitol Records artists. Among them were legendary folks like Red Simpson, Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Susan Raye, and Tony Booth, just to name a few.

As a result, that genre of Country music, “The Bakersfield Sound”, became deeply embedded into my soul. Those early seeds began to grow, and my love of music became hopelessly intertwined within my heart and soul.

But as happens to many dreams, life begins to twist its way around them and they fade away. I stopped pursing this particular dream in my youth, as my attention turned to other pursuits. However faded, the dream never died.

Having reached a stage of life where one begins to contemplate life’s true meaning, I began to once again dust off those old dreams and pursue them. I started writing songs, but didn’t play any instruments, that, coupled with my fear of singing in front of anyone, made it pretty much impossible to share my music.

In August of 2013 I bought my first guitar and began to teach myself to play. Within a year not only was I playing, but I had a handful of songs completed and moved into the recording phase. I was joined in the studio by some of my musical friends including WS “Fluke” Holland (legendary drummer for Johnny Cash), Rudy Gatlin (of The Gatlin Brothers), Randy Wills (of the Singing Wills Family), Milo Deering (LeAnn Rimes band), Dave Walser (Beetlegrass), Theresa Spanke (Bakersfield California singer produced by Billy Mize), Pete Miller, Tommy Young, Danny Cochran, and Jerry Matheny.

I recently released a four song EP titled "The First Four", I have now entered into the live performing stage of my dream. Although those early dreams of stardom have been tempered significantly, I am realizing the power of pursuing dreams. I have already been honored to shared the stage with such notables as Marty Stuart, Rudy Gatlin, Theresa Spanke, Jay Ramsey, Dave Walser, and one of my all time musical heroes, Red Simpson.

The last year has been a whirlwind of activity, and the dream is in full pursuit. Thanks for taking the time to visit my page and check out my music. Please share my page with your friends!.

This is why you never quit dreaming!

Great song. I'd love to play it on my syndicated show "Country Legends In The Making" that reaches 400 am/fm stations around the world. You can take a look at my radio site at and even listen to the recorded version of the show there if you like. Get back to me at if you want the airplay.
