Album Notes
This project took about a year. The songs on the album represent real feelings from real situations that I have faced in my life. The first track, Sing Hallelujah, sets the tone. The song is about facing problems in life and how we choose to react to those problems. Most of the other tracks follow this theme except for one. The song "Let Me Love You" was written to reflect just a small glimpse of my marriage life toward it's end and a desire to save it. I didn't happen.

"I Wonder" is a song I wrote years ago. Again this song reflects a deep desire for family and living right and, realizing that it cannot be done without the Lord. Marriage is tough. Losing your marriage is even tougher. I didn't think I would make it sometimes and when I did make it through, I just wanted to testify about the goodness of the Lord, hence the song, "I Wanna Testify." The last song "I Pray For Your Mercy" is a simple, one verse song, a prayer really, a cry for mercy as I go through this life. I believe many people will identify with this CD. My prayer is that you are blessed.

Though I spent 20 years in the Navy Band, I am not a full time musician anymore. This work was created in my spare time after work and on weekends. I would like to be able to say that I had some of my musician buddies playing on this album but, with all of us working, and family commitments, it wasn't possible. I will make more of an effort on the next project though.

I am primarily a saxophone player. I have only been singing for about 11 years, not great yet. The music on the project was put together using a program called Garage Band on an iMac computer. It actually comes free with the computer. With an audio interface to the computer I was able to record vocals and saxophone parts into the project. The program has some great features and mixing capabilities and, even some mastering capabilities. It takes a lot of patience.

I really hope you enjoy this album. I certainly enjoyed putting it together.
