This fresh new edition was remixed, re-imagined and remastered by Tony Mecca in 2016. Originally released independently in March 2005, and worldwide by Morrhythm/Outstanding Records in 2005, PRINCES OF THE NEW DARK AGE wonderfully continues the tradition Mecca established on PURPLE MONKEYS of studying both the triumphs and failures of the "human drill". Whether recalling the often harsh right-of-passage details of his tough urban youth on "More of a Man" & "Burn, John Burn"; celebrating or mourning the eventual conclusions to affairs of the heart on the powerful "Say Goodbye to Judas"; rubbing your funny bone on the hilarious psycho beach thriller, "The Girl from the Sand" - or revealing the mysterious allure of his "New Green Shirt", Mecca appears to be moving ahead at full speed - very comfortably.

I've always believed these songs deserved this type of loving care, and I am very confident that fans of this CD will thoroughly enjoy these new Princes.
