Album Notes
The Acoustic Composer album is a collection of solo instrumental acoustic guitar pieces composed from the heart that are filled with sincere emotion, profound passion, vivacity and exhilaration.

The Acoustic Composer album features the exquisite resonant sound of numerous vintage Martin guitars dating back to 1927. The album was recorded using the very best vintage gear including a 1964 Neumann U67 valve microphone with a 1959 EMT plate reverb and was mastered at the world famous Abbey Road Studios in London, resulting in an absolute tonal delight for any guitar lover’s ears. The guitars used were:

Tony Skinner is one of the true masters of the guitar having played for over 40 years as a professional guitarist. During the past 25 years Tony became established as one of the world’s most respected guitar educators, writing and editing over 100 guitar education books and, as Director of the Registry of Guitar Tutors and London College of Music Principal Guitar Examiner, compiling ground-breaking music exams for all levels and styles of guitar playing that are now widely used across the world. In addition, Tony composed music and text for over 250 issues of Total Guitar magazine, Europe’s best-selling guitar magazine, with sales in excess of 10 million magazines and CDs.
