ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
TopJaw is a Los Angeles based hard rock / blues rock band. The Flood is the fifth of a seven-song release.

Entropy is a concept initially derived from thermodynamics and reanalyzed by clinical psychologist, Dr. Jordan B. Petersen. It states that chaos is a natural state, and human nature must maintain constant effort towards higher order and fight degeneration to keep it at bay. The Flood is a song that's based on that idea, suggesting that anything other than a real and honest effort will result in the erosion and washing away of civility.

The Flood:

Baby, Baby,

When the sun goes down, and your vice comes unbound.
Water at your door, rips the seam and floods the ground.

It is in our nature
To wait till the flood recedes.

Baby, Baby,

Left alone in time, dust from stone is all you'll find.
Once so grand it fell. Drown at sea got left behind.

It is in our nature
Lies taken as the truth
We wait till the flood recedes.

Ooooh woah yeah yeah.
Ooooh woah yeah yeah.

Baby, Baby,

It is in our nature
Lies taken as the truth
Here comes the flood

It is in our nature
Lies taken as the truth
We wait till the flood recedes

Baby, Baby, Baby
