ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
TO THE BONE was born in early 2003 and are influenced by the thriving historic metal, hardcore, and hard rock scene of their Northern New Jersey and NY base. TTB's battle plan is to take classic old school metal, punk, hardcore, nu-metal, garage, and experimental elements and craft them into stripped-down brutal songs that hit you like a truck and keep you under its wheels. Their uncompromising 10-song 30-minute self-titled debut is a metal assault that will leave you breathless and wanting more.

Keeping the Faith
And you thought old school metal had cut its hair and sold out? It's back! TTB's debut album treats you to vocals that increase in ferocity and doom-bringing rhythm supplied by the heavy-handed guitar and stick work. The latest in power trios, these guys sound like they know what they're doing and having a great time doing it.

It Brings You Back To When Metal Ruled The World
From the groove-driven 'Keep Your Face Down' to the manic 'The Changeling' to the surprisingly catchy 'Dead Brothers Of Innocence', this disc has something for everybody who remembers the heyday of metal. If you still have your concert t-shirts from the 80's, throw one on, jump in your car, jam on the accelerator and give this a listen; crank it up. It takes you back in a good way.

Dark and sinister music that is instantly enjoyable.
To The Bone emits a jazzy, bluesy type essence that holds a dark and sinister side that is instantly enjoyable.
TTB features very strange songs that are very well done. This is down and dirty rock'n'roll music with an edge.
The music throughout is solid fundamental rock'n'roll with plenty of heart and it sounds like the band is having a good time.
TTB has it going on with all the elements of a good rock'n'roll band: quality music and lyrics, high production values and, perhaps most importantly, genuine heart.
