ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Featuring DUO HARMONY winners, Walt Richards and Paula Strong - Western Music Association - Nov. 2005

Walt and Paula, as members of the Pacific Southwest Railroad Museum, get to sing a lot of train songs.
There's nothing like singing on a moving train - especially in one of the older style cars - to challenge your balance capabilities. Great fun, though!
People love the opportunity to hear these old songs - especially if they can sing along.

"On Track" is a collection of 21 new and old train songs. People hear this CD playing in the Museum Store, every weekend when they come out to Campo, California to ride the trains.

Walt and Paula have been performing together and in various formats all over the southwest for over twenty-five years, specializing in cowboy and train songs in addition to folk, blues, and swing tunes and Walt's solo instrumental work.

On this CD, both Walt and Paula sing lead and harmony, with Walt adding lead guitar, banjo and mandolin to Paula's rhythm backup.

Since releasing "On Track" in 2003, Walt and Paula have gone on to record six more CDs - all available on CDBaby.
