ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Tikey Patterson, A.K.A. Trap, set a goal at a young age to make a household name for himself as he embarked on his journey to make his mark in the entertainment industry. In February 2009 Trap released his first project, “747 Fly”, which brought a presence of Trap all over Arizona like never before. He quickly began building the anticipation of his second release, “I Never Sleep”, through his social networks and performances. He took home the award for Best Solo Male Rapper at a local AZ awards show in February of 2010. In July 2010, “I Never Sleep” was released and his journey to becoming a household name continued. At the top of 2011, he received another award naming “I Never Sleep” the Top Solo Male Rap Mixtape in 2010 by the phxhiphop.net online awards.

Trap unveiled his much anticipated third release “Died & Gone 2 Heaven” hosted by DJ John Blaze via his Indie Label, Animal Planet in 2011. Fueled by an endorsement from Vitamin Water, Fader Magazine, & Oh So Dope Clothing, Trap marched into 2012 with his biggest release yet with “I Am Michael Knight” With a booming baritone to match his hulking, 6-foot-4-inch frame, Trap delivers 20 all original songs from hard hitting street anthems to bouncy club bangers. “I Am Michael Knight” features Raheem Devaughn, Willy Northpole, Roca Dolla, LV Lavor, Dirty Dan, & More. Trap has teamed up with DAMN Productions to give “I Am Michael Knight” a better visual appearance than his last three releases. You can expect two videos to be released monthly. Since the release of Michael Knight, Trap has also released a joint venture with OTS member Checkin Trapps called “Impala District.” Look out for Trap’s first album “Kiss My Converse” to be released in March with some of the industry’s best producers behind him.
