ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
For the first time in recorded history, the origination of Trap Door-Full-Effect-All-Out-Intergalactic-Bump-Rock original 1994 release CD is brought to you digitally. Trap Door was riding the cusp of fiercely independent bands releasing to the then chancy (and expenssive) format of Compact Disc (the crackle at the top of the album was actually humorous at the time of this release).

Trap Door had until then only released Cassette Tapes and a 45rpm (under the name Cabbage-A-Go-Go).

This is the first fully digital release of Flying Discs of Luv. Although it was release previously online, it was on a cutting edge website called Two Big Toes. Two Big Toes would actually only allow you to burn a single CD directly from their website to your computer! Trap Door was the second most popular independent band on Two Big Toes directly under David Jay of Bauhaus. This was a huge compliment for the discoie, bump band. Other achievements at this time included footage of Project Y appearing on RAI Global Television Program about The Future. Try Gunn of King Crimson also adds Chapman Stick to three tracks on the album. It was a truly special time for the group.

Most of these title have been sub sequentially released from different assemblages of the group but, this is the origin of many beloved titles. The music is basically one Ensoniq EPS 16+ with memory expansion, DJ Pops Seriano, a guitar and a Stick with Wiggly and Queen CC adding the Vox.

The 1994 album is being released now in anticipation of the first Trap Door branded Mini Album due out Summer of 2016 (there have been releases under Wiggly of Trap Door since the Y2K release of 50 Years of Trap Door).

The foundational sequencer might be dated but, it was completely manual sequence recording at that time, Wiggly pressed every key for bongos, horns, squawk and haha. The album features the members of Trap Door Prime, Wiggly, Queen CC, Pyramido, Mystic T, Pops Seriano, Mister Trousers, Holee Cow and Emcee and Dancer, King Rollo.
