ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee Tres Crow exhibits both the worldliness and the regionalism of this most famous of music towns, while maintaining the honesty and austerity of his small town Lake Michigan upbringing.

As the front man for regional favorites, Oblivion, Tres showed that he was capable of electrifying audiences across the Eastern United States, but with his first solo release, The Maine EP, he proved just how diverse his musical talents are. All Four songs on the disc spotlight Tres' ability to not only create beautiful soundscapes but to keep the listener humming long after the song is finished.

"Maine," the EP's namesake, is so quiet and honest that even the coldest of critics' hearts are warmed by the song's whimsical conclusion. "Souls (Tick The Minutes Away)," on the other hand, bounces out of the speakers with a hook that is contagious, while the conclusion of "Cold Light" will leave the listener breathless.

After moving to Nashville in 2005 Tres joined local Nashville favorites Greenland and soon rode the strength of his song "The Way It Is" all the way to New York City where the band was featured on Good Morning America. Recently Tres has split from the band to focus on his mellower, more introspective side project with Patrick Rickelton (keyboardist from Greenland) called Noble Three. You can check the band out at http://www.myspace.com/noblethree.

Tres Crow, both personally and musically, exudes honesty and it is this passion and idealism that will propel him to the top of the indie and pop charts. With The Maine EP and all of his other creative endeavors he has taken a huge leap forward, one that is certain to make Tres Crow a household name.
