Album Notes
Born in the North West of England. Trevor Halliwell started to play the cornet at the early age of nine. He was spotted as a talented young player and has played in many of the top bands in the country including Brighouse & Rastrick, Fodens Motor Works (later known as Brittania B.S Fodens Band) and resided as principal cornettist of the Wingates band for over Ten years. It was whilst at Wingates theat he became “Champion Soloist of Great Britain and has toured many countries as a soloist. Trevor also gained the coveted Fellowship of the Trinity College of Music in London and continues to teach, play, conduct and adjudicate on a freelance basis.
