Trio 919 = Instant Compositional Bliss
Trio 919 pulls from a number of improvisational traditions in an authentic, lovely way. I'm familiar with Vinny Golia's (woodwinds) work as I'm a former student of his. Golia highlights a different side which those who know his playing may be surprised by - in a fun way. These musicians are informed of the traditions but unafraid into exploring a multitude of sonic and music territories.
