Album Notes
Trio Tipo plays original instrumental song with an eclectic style and flavors from around the world. The amplified classical guitars of Steve Haskin and
Don Sellers are backed up by percussionist Terry Storhaug. One of the more innovative up and coming local bands with their debut CD to be released in April, Trio Tipo has been well received by a wide spread audience of all ages.

'Music at once familiar and strangely exotic.......They're easy to listen to without being easy listening.'
~ Pulse of the Twin Cities

'Acoustic instrumentalists Trio Tipo play hushed, worldly melodies undeserving of raucous bars. '
~ City Pages

'TRIO TIPO is one of the few groups I can listen to over and over again and never get tired of hearing. That Latin, Classical, Jazz rhythm sounds good any time of day. I'd book them anytime. '
~ D. Lawrence, Coffee Grounds

Excellent, invigorating, catchy melodies, gets in the memory
This is definitely a fun choice of edgy, upbeat pieces performed in a smooth, rhythmic fashion. The whole CD maintains a level of excellence as each piece flows into the next. Gets into the memory---you will feel this music.
