ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Welcome Welcome New Millennium, the Tuckers' debut album, is an eclectic collection ranging from dance pop/rock Millennium songs, to a forty-something Little Red Hen- an upbeat "house slave" liberation anthem set to both Big Band and a more country version.

Back in Tennessee, an ode to both the state and the musical state of mind, is a crowd pleaser in the clubs & the reaction to it from people all over the country has been great.

Another favorite on the album is "Your Presence" (Of a Memory When) - a song about spending the Holidays without someone you love & is the only melody on the album based on a public domain melodic riff from Grieg's "A Dream".

Many have compared this recording to Patsy Cline in style and feel - at which Silver bristles "It sounds like Rachel"! The two millennium songs are upbeat-uptempo-uplifting-happy.

"You Found Me" and "You Still Astound Me" are songs "recycled" from love letters and poems, as are the many love songs to be released by the Tuckers in the coming years, as they produce the songs they have all been co-writing for years together- and these are some of their favorites.

The Tuckers just returned from a radio tour 3 weeks early so they could finish the recordings for their second album, due out February 1st.

"Bonfires of the Angels", their title song, is their "problem child song" & the Tuckers are all proud of all 20 versions! The chorus is about the dream that stars are really the Bonfires of the Angels.

The artwork is beautiful- the Tuckers have artwork commissioned for all their Spring 2000 releases. The Tuckers goal is to sell as much of their music via internet/radio airplay/ tollfree telephone orders, but are NOT interested in a label deal-they traveled the lower 48 for over a year, writing, and plan benefit concerts live only, and radio touring the country the next twelve months, so you will be hearing from them-email them at their website www.the-tuckers.net if you wish a media packet.

There are seven original songs on this debut album, and because it is their first, there are a limited number of this first order (3,200 total), so they will be a collector item, soon.

Artistic freedom is critical to the Meadowflight Music Mission- log on to www.the-tuckers.net for more sound samples and info-stay in touch-and HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR to you and yours!
