Sugar, Fat, Salt

by The Tumbrils

Short, sweet, catchy and honest. Loud guitars with calm vocals, this album is up and down and between the lines. With subject matter from the death penalty to mental illness to addiction to relationships to just plain goofy. Giddy up!

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Sugar, Fat, Salt" is an honest album that moves around the spectrum of moods, not sticking to any one particular feeling. It is not pretentious; it is not inaccessible; it is not geared for a single audience. Although the subject matter could be construed as mature at times, there is absolutely no profanity. This album is for everyone. I never wanted to be involved in a project that didn't involve male/female vocals, so the participation of a female in the band was always very important and necessary. That balance is imperative to reach more people, and to be more substantive, which although the album is somewhat simplistic, this female influence on the album makes it much more listenable and enjoyable.
