Album Notes
Artist: Tuneola
Album: Retrospective
Tuneola is the antithesis of the modern music scene. The point of Tuneola is it should all be about the music. Not the who or when or where or from. A rebellion against the image, the fashion, the look, the hype, the back story, the sound of now or the sound of then, the what's happening on the scene syndrome, It shouldn't matter whether the music sounds like that band or this band, or him or her. What really matters is do you like to listen to it. Does it entertain. Does the music connect with your life. The world and its mother needs music, to sooth, to excite, to relax, to remember, to think, to encourage, to give hope, to warn, to remind, to live!, to make you SMILE.

What Fans Say
I can hear David Gilmour's tone in the singer's voice. Song and video are fresh. Good Melody. Good Vibes. Like this. The album is quite good too. A bunch of genre, Well produced and composed. Kinda psychadelic, exotic, nostalgic concept ? Surprising, Interesting and fresh. Good job. Cheers from France. blackeyedtoys
Wow! Sounds catchy. Very clean instrumentation, and super tight harmonies. The snappy rhythm is addicting, very good percussion. Heck, there isn't one thing that isn't exceptional about this number! Anybody would enjoy this. Thank you!
Band has a good sound. Lead singer sounds a little like Jackson Brown. Nazz1952
first of all it's Jackson Browne not Brown and he sound nothing like him.....but the band is good great harmonies....band's don't like to be compared to anyone else....they have their own own unique sound and they want to be compare to themselves. GREAT JOB GUYS GOOD VIDEO LETS HEAR MORE FROM YOU!!!!!. danfan53
Really reminds me of one of my favirote artists, Lady Antebellum and I love all of their songs, which is rare for me when it comes to artists. You're deffinately on the up friend. 2467deadman
Reminded me of Gerry Rafferty. I dug it. Zzyyxxyyxx
Fantastici, bravissimi!!! flaniman2
It sounds like Christine McVie's son. thealbumcollector
I like this! Remind me a little of Tom Petty. BASSisAmust
i don't wanna turn into the discussion of *it sounds like*, though many ideas *whodunit* run through my head while listening to this tune. it's just a fine piece of good music. muxx441
hey yeah i like that music you never know when you will be hit by what you like amen?!?! lifeinyouisgod
Very nice sound! a little like Mac maybe but i hear lots of other things in there too! very cool Thank You! heliot58
Weirdly enough in some verses the vocal delivery sounds kind of like Thom Yorke's from Radiohead, which is really strange because this is such a feel good song and the themes in all their songs basically boil down to 'life sucks' FeederForLife
Reminds me of a band I used to listen to in the early seventies. Poco. episkopi08
Gtreat Work. Tooooooooooooooooo good 2 believe. I never imagined that so much talent existed in this Narcissistic World
sounds like the beatles and pink floyd lol Blueberry954
After years of people inviting me to go listen to their music on youtube, this is the only one that I followed that I was glad that I did. Nice music. bobviously
"It's nice to hear songwriters outside of the Nashville song mill. True creativity. I like the ability to color outside the lines without over complicating the song. Good job." 912beef
"The clever lyrics are just part of the overall songwriting talent on display here." - Indie Music.com
“Personally this album deserves 4 stars, I like where it’s going. I wouldn’t be
surprised if Tuneola becomes really popular this year" - MEL MEL 394
“Great Album I’m actually pretty impressed. What I like most is the electronic sounds and how they are mixed into the rock genre that the album is. I don’t think a lot of people can pull that off so it’s great to find this kind of album”.- MotherOf2
"Each one of these songs is so unique, that’s what draws me into this album because you are surprised by each song, and they are really good.”.- Colter_unical

Love this sound
I came across Tuneola on youtube. The two instrumentals on this album are some of the best music I have heard in months of wading through new tracks. In spite of being packaged with more retro americana style songs these would sound great in a variety of other contexts.

The vocal tracks sound great too and would appeal to many like myself who miss the great songwriting of people like Steve Miller in the 80's. It really is intelligent song-writing of a high calibre.

Thank you Reminds me of
the likes of the band Poco, Great sound, music and lyrics to this song.
Thank you for allowing me to have this song, and I will certainly be reviewing the other songs in your collections.
Keep up the great work
