An Eternity of Blood

Album Notes
These songs are mostly about the blood inside your skin, not what spills outside. Blood, rattling through your limbs like a train! Blood feeding the sensual symbioses of clarity and lust, tenderness and fright: the great late-night life-spring that flowed through Jim Thompson, Gene Vincent, and Mario Bava...this 4th T.O.L. album injects some lurid color into the blackness - a vivid shot of stimulation, for those who are vulnerable...

**Sonically resembles: Coil “Horse Rotorvator”, Prince “Sign O' The Times”.

Try these:
Romantic crooners: (1)"An Eternity of Blood", (7)"No Sleep 2-Night"
Delicious demons: (3)"Shiny Claws", (5)"You Could be Brand New"
Trembling: (4) A Fright, (12)"Hypnagogic Instructions", (16)"Nice "

Jeff Wagner's 3 previous Tunnel of Love creations are "2AM in the Tunnel of Love" (2003), "Underneath are Phantoms" (2004), and "Fury Town" (2005). Jeff has appeared in 3 Bay Area stage productions with Karen Penley's Circus Proboscis, and currently performs in the San Francisco rocknroll band The Tunnel. He once acquired a PhD from the University of North Carolina and now operates electron microscopes. He likes whisky.

**Reviews of Jeff's previous Tunnel Of Love album, "Fury Town":

"imagine the Cramps, only obsessed with trashy pop and obscure film soundtracks rather than rockabilly and exotica"
--RKF, The One True Dead Angel

"a nice soundtrack for a horror psychobilly-gangster story from the '40s"
--Mr, Moonlight, Erba Della Strega

"a mixture of sleazy, gothic burlesque, dark circus sideshow and slinky carnival
tent tunes" --Ophelia Necro, KFJC Reviews

"Its a world of skewed noir so tilted at an angle everything is in danger of dropping over the edge, and that's why it's captivating."
--Mick Mercer, The Mick
