PRESS RELEASE

Relentless Productions and Deep Groove Entertainment teamed up to release a group album consisting of Seattle/Everett based emcees Brent Ogee and Cin’atra. Their group is called Turf Grindaz, the album is entitled “Poundin’ Tha Pavement”. The project is the brainchild of David (Mr. Cin’atra) Lee. A Seattle bred emcee who has deep roots in the Hip Hop community and who started his music career by working with Hip Hop Promoters Gene Dexter and Nasty Nes under the CrazyPinoy Promotions banner. Cin’atra has helped promote such major artists as Naughty By Nature, Pink, Warren G, Scarface, Yukmouth, Jay-Z‘s Hard Knock Life Tour, just to name a few. He has also help build local success for such Seattle artists as local Northwest legend Silver Shadow D, S.C.U.M. and Byrdie.

Cin’atra teamed up with long time friend Brent O.Gee to form a business relationship as well as a music group, in order to build a solid foundation of teamwork, commitment and dedication. They share the same passion-music! And through their love for music, they share a common goal….to succeed in taking the Northwest Hip Hop music scene to the national level. Their mission is to expose the masses to top quality music through performaces, promotions, albums and internet outlets. They are not waiting for a record deal or financial backing. The group started their own businesses and invested their own money into projects. The Turf Grindaz are a grass roots Hip Hop group that is not afraid to get their hands dirty by promoting their own shows, handing out their own fliers. They know if you want something, you have to go and get it and that is why their first group album is entitled “Poundin’ Tha Pavement”.

The album will be officially released on April 25th, 2009. The project is produced by platinum producer FunkDaddy (Sir-Mix-A lot, E-40, Mac Dre & N2Deep), Gold Producer Big Ice of Da Playboy Foundation (Baby Bash, Young Dru, Frost & Latino Velvet) as well as up and coming producer Simmer DZ of Mobb Tyght; Brent O.Gee also contributes production credit on the album. The guest appearances for the album include FunkDaddy, Mario’so, Overflow, M-Deuce of Mobb Tyght, Produk of the Reallinaires, Yahlee Da Chief, Blitz Krieg and Simmer DZ of Mobb Tyght.

The first single is entitled “No Tell Motel””, a radioclub track dedicated to the opposite sex. “No Tell Motel” will be for Turf Grindaz, what O.P.P. was for Naughty By Nature; the new anthem about being promiscuous. The B-side of the single is an ode to Seattle called “Summertime In Tha SEA”. A laid back, feel good track that focuses on the beautiful summer time weather and enjoying friends, family and fans. The singles will be released to all DJs, Radio Mix Shows, and internet outlets.
