ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Turnbull can be described as a dynamic husband and wife duo with an acoustic pop/rock worship style. Influences are Chris Tomlin, Passion, Watermark, and David Crowder Band. They started performing together in the early '90's as members of a Christian band. When the band members moved on to other ministries after more than three years together, John and Julie, now married, continued writing and performing together. Serving as worship leaders for their church, mission organizations, and youth camps, has been their life since they met. In 1997 they released their first album, self-titled "Turnbull", followed by their first worship album, "Here", which was picked up by True Tunes/Rhythm House Records and re-released as "I Want You Here". Their latest album, "We Will Fly", is also a worship album, and was inspired by a songwriting breakout session at a youth camp where they led worship each summer. Those same teens appear on some of the live tracks from the album.
