Album Notes
Tweed Schade and the Sugardaddies= high energy county-swing+rockabilly with a zing! This CD will have you dancing and singing with the very first listen. The songs are lyric oriented(they tell a story) and lead guitar driven.

This CD consists of a compilation of Tweed's greatest hits!
It is not often that a Cd can make you feel happy but this one will!! Check out the website

Tweed Schade-singer songwriter from New Jersey USA is a crafty tunesmith. His lyrics are clever and touching, and at time very funny. The Sugardaddies add an excellent compliment to his songs. If your lookin for some honest Americanna Pie, serve yourself up a big ole slice with this CD!

Aside from 2 excellent cover songs/standards (Down In The Valley & Lil Brown Jug), this CD offers 10 delightful original songs filled with emotion and energy!!

track 1- Sugardaddy- is the bands anthem."my baby she's so sweet, and I'm her Sugardaddy".."she keeps me hot, warm and cold at night and I love her madly" Just wait for the band
call backs and you'll join right in...Hey Bradley!!

track 2-Release Me- high powered rockabilly, stand back and let go, and get real gone with this one!"Your starting to act like your maw more everyday" Scorching guitar solos pace this one through from beginning to end!

track 3- A Boy And His Guitar- this song tells the tale of well...a boy and his guitar.. Paul Facchinei's lead guitar drives the message home as he provides the backdrop for this story. He certainly has done his job here...This tune was actually written while Tweed was buying a guitar. He then came home and wrote the song and here it is in all it's beauty just for you...enjoy..this one's a classic!

track 4- Lil Brown Jug- classic raved up cover of the old standard..Tweed does live in a house of stone.."she' drinks gin..& I like the rum..together man it's lots of fun!!

track 5- Try - This is the title track of the CD. This song tells the story of a man who travels 300 miles, just to say he was sorry...once again excellent guitar work provides swirling sensations of love, sympathy and regret.
You should Try this CD for this song alone!!!

Saw these guys in NYC's Rodeo Bar a few days after BR-549 was there!
I saw these guys in NYC headlining a Saturday nite at the Rodeo Bar a few days after I saw BR-549 there. Tweed is an amazing songwriter. He could be making big $ in Nashville. Raritan Line & Rt. 523 are a slice of Americana and the best songs about NJ since Bruce Springsteen's Nebreaska album. Lil Miss Dixie is a a country mile. Give it a Try!
