ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Many people may ask themselves, why anyone would choose to go by an artist name of Twoface. Well, although the word “Two face” may describe a negative person, G. Heraldez, a Gemini, doesn’t pay attention to the negative meaning behind the word. He is determined to let his music and his up-front, honest personality speak for itself. He knows he has many advantages in the music industry due to him being bilingual and being able to write songs in Spanish and English.

Twoface’s start in the music industry began back in the year of 2002 when his cousin approached him with the idea of forming a rap group that would consist of nothing but family members.
Twoface accepted to form part of the group with his two cousins since his passion for music was immense. At first for Twoface, it was only a hobby since his dream was to become a professional soccer player. But, after showing off some of the recordings he had done with the group “MTO” to school friends he discovered that people would always pay attention to a certain guy in the group not knowing it was Twoface. He quickly got encouraged by the feedback and decided to pursue a career in music.
As a member of the group MTO, Twoface wrote the only song that would eventually get some radio play on a special segment on the station KGGI 99.1 (Riverside, CA). That song is called “One Chance.” It was part of the group’s debut album on an independent label. As a group, MTO brought out three albums, but after the third album the differences between Twoface and his other group members became clear. The Gemini decided to part ways and tries his luck as a solo artist.

Going on a solo path after being part of a group is very difficult, nevertheless Twoface has created strong friendships with many artist, producers, and managers in the industry that have brought him many big opportunities. Twoface has had the chance to open up for big acts like Pitbull, Frankie J, Baby Bash, Lil Rob, and got the chance to be featured on a song with ex Disney sensation Myra, on a compilation that featured many West Coast artist put out by Machete Music/Universal called “La Costa Nuestra” in 2007.

“I have strong faith in my music. I believe God has a different path for everyone in this world. I try to read every sign the Lord throws at me and push forward in that direction. I wouldn’t see any progress in my music career if this was not my path. So, with patience I wait for my time.” - Twoface
