Album Notes

THE UNKNOWN KING [TXK] aka ACE is native Floridian born son of Gary L King and has been holding his own for many years. He and his father had no formal relationship. Recently he was murdered in the state of Georgia.
At the early age of thirteen he begin his transition to adolescence and quickly realized that not having a father put more pressure on him in a single parent home. By thirteen he had to work part-time jobs to get things he desired. This led to the typical street life affiliation. Like most young males without male direction he followed the thought process of only the strong survive.

He continued to work thru High School until he graduated he did not begin to fully embrace Black manhood until he decided to go to college since his mother had always instilled education and hardworking. Immediately following his graduation from High school in Florida he attended the prestigious black college FAMU (Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University) for Electrical Engineering. He worked two odd jobs that summer just to be able to facilitate the transition. Once in college life was very difficult financially he had to work odd jobs just to make ends meet. Since TXK was not from your traditional college background, but easily adapted. Adapt to the fact that money was not going to fall out of the sky so he did like most Black Males and ended up funding his future selling drugs and living the street life.

This led him to multiple criminal convictions but at that point he only received a slap on the wrist for what most Artist just do for attention he was doing to survive and strive, before the album. After a little Federal bid and several State issues he decided to change his criminal grind finished college at (UCF) in engineering and began to pursue his career. This was a long struggle and along the way TXK-THE UNKNOWN KING lost friends and family and managed to keep moving until he made it to Atlanta with his family circle in October of 2002. It was here that spawned the take off of his industry career.
