ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Portland, Maine’s Tyson Weems wants to change the world using music as a primary tool. He created "Born Again Weird" to reach younger audiences with positive messages about healthy behaviors and attitudes. The different styles, from rap to folk to blues and rock, reflect his creativity and versatility. He compliments his guitar and vocal parts with a range of instrumentation as well as silky vocals by Christina Sterling. The result: songs that inform, amuse, engage, and inspire. Writes one mom from Midlothian, VA:

"My kids have had this on repeat in the house. It's just great. And we all needed a break from the 'Frozen' soundtrack."

This is Tyson's debut album. His second, "All Rise: Songs in the Key of 3D (Health)" reinforces and adds to its messages about taking personal responsibility and building community. He performs to audiences of all ages throughout New England. Through The 3D Health Alliance, a project of his 501c3 non-profit 3D Health Inc, he sings and talks to school groups and others about ways to promote personal, community, and environmental health. He also helped found and currently coaches at CrossFit Beacon in Portland to build health in Maine.
