ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
At the Beach
Slow strumming guitar awakens a sleeper from an unintended place of rest, spit dried on his cheek. Bleary eyes squint at the wandering and undulating melodies that feel like hallucination by heat stroke. The disorientated sounds soften and slow as porcelain skin is berated by unseen UV destruction.

Chandelier
Body changing shape? More hair... everywhere? Uncle Larry can cure your embarrassing new developments with one part 60s keyboard, three parts energetic pop and a dab of calculated percussion.

Love is a Thing
You can almost feel the brass against your lips as mesmerizing notes flood from the bell of the trumpet in Spanish-inspired cadences. The hypnotizing guitar rhythms consume your soul in this bewitching ballad of obsession, possession and unrequited love. Listen for the eerie voice of this come-hither creature - but don’t disregard your inhibitions.

Rice Pudding
Put a bowl of German potato salad in the microwave, fork and all, power on high and brace yourself for an electric shock of flamboyant dance rhythms. Yowls and wails rise above a rich recipe of surf style rolling guitar mashed up with a garage version of Ballroom Blitz. As the drumming pushes the song forward, you too will begin to feel like a ham sandwich.
