Album Notes
Hailing from Northern Utah! The UPCOLLAR$ we're formed in the midst of the hard-core street punk scene to deliver something that was determined to be "scene-less!" The band has been noted for its extreme live performances which consist of crazy stage antics and the often destruction of stage equipment. The band was once stated as being formed by people who should never have been in bands. They have been critized for their own critizisms of "the scene!" with songs quotes including: "Destroy the scene! Make emo kids cry!" "I invented the power chord" "Being in a band today is so gay" "I remember the day green day became green gay" and "you will die corndick" (most oftenly calling their enemies "Corndicks!") The Upcollar$ have had to alienate some potential fans and even some past band members! The band has however overcome their obstactles and is now poised at taking on the west coast! With their first quote-unquote album "We're Better Than You" (Considered to be more of an hour long glorified demo) The Upcollar$ come at you with the fury of punk, angst of grunge, the heavyness of metal, the vibe of ska, and heart of pure hardcore rockn'roll!!
