ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Together This Time by Upriver is Celtic, Appalachian Mountain Music, Bluegrass and folk all in one album.
You will be carried away on the Irish whistle and the strings of a guitar to a Celtic shore. You will be transported to the base of a mountain about to be blown away forever. Sit in with some old time musicians cuttin' loose in a jam session and take a stroll in the Cold Frosty Morning. Dan and Teresa bring it all home to you in one album of traditional Mt. Music passed by the oral tradition as well as cover and original songs. Upriver's arrangements bring in guitars, Irish whistle, harmonica, fiddle, bass, banjo and mandolin and deliver to you music that is full of energy and spirit, of the land and life.
This is music that is rarely heard on the radio or TV.
There is a legacy in this music, a legacy of joy and sorrow and wisdom that cannot be ignored. There is no better way to accept this legacy, or to pass it along to those who will follow, than to embrace the historical sound track that offers such a clear and deep look into its’ soul.
What folks are saying about this CD:

" It is filled with diversity, colors and subtleties that bring a total fabric of deep musical energy."

"It is obvious that you love music, love being musicians and have a
great way to express your thoughts, desires, philosophies, etc through
your arrangements and
original compositions. Very nice."

"You have put a remarkable collection of music literature together and
I think people will enjoy this recording for years and years to come." WB
