Album Notes
Second Uros Spasojevic album called “Story on bass” brings different sound compared to the debut album “Portrait in bass” but with the same concept in the form of expression – using bass as the leading melodic and solo instrument. Compositions on album “Story on bass” are deeper, more personal and more authentic and album itself is a step forward in finding inner musical voice of artist with a continuous search and experimentation with effects.

Album “Story on bass” was created in Valjevo, Serbia in late 2014, and it was recorded, mixed and mastered at Studio “Kebac”.

Produced by Uros Spasojevic and Vladimir Ruzicic Kebac.

Boris Novakovic – rhodes (3,5,6,7)
Lazar Avramovic – piano (2)
Branko Popovic – drums (2)
Vladimir Ruzicic Kebac – drums (3,5,6,7,8)
Uros Spasojevic – bass guitar (1-9)

An impressive disc again!
Really impressive again as first album. I love Uros bass sound and composition style. I love solo bass player but someone is to much "guitar-style" oriented with less groove. Instead Uros has a lot of groove a lot of musical attitude with respect of the bass role in the composition even maintaining a primary role. I think this is more experimental than first disc but sound really good for me. A must to have for all people which love modern jazz with bass primary role! Dario from Italy.
