ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album is the collection of instrumental compositions of the French impressionist composer Claude Debussy (1862-1918), arranged and performed in my own synth-acoustic interpretation in a style of hi-tech modern classic or alternative classic. I’d like to time the album release to the composer’s 150th anniversary which will be celebrated in 2012. This album might be of great interest to both lovers of classical music and admirers of the modern electro sound. Despite the common features – musical language and sound – the album is really multi-faceted: Industrial (“Motion” composition), Electro psychedelia (“Footprints On The Snow”, “Bells Through the Leaves”), Art Rock (“Gardens In The Rain”), Ambient (“Syrinx”), World (“Pagodas”), instrumental ballads (“Girl With Flaxen Hair” and “Moonlight”) and even Noise (“Fireworks”).
In this album I played all keyboards, guitars, rhythm machines, I’ve made all arrangements and recorded everything by myself.
Enjoy!
Vadim Mikhailov.
