Be Fabulous (feat. John Woolridge)

by Val Sherwood

Her crystal clear voice sings passionately of hope and love; haunting original melodies that remind you of Sarah McLachlan. Each song is a dance in itself, lifting you up and around. From the heart of an island folk singer who loves her Bermuda home.

Album Notes
Val Sherwood is an established local artist who came up through the Bermuda Folk Club and Chewstick. This is her second CD, her debut album, Never Tell Them Why, was produced under the name Val Wallace and is also available on CD Baby. With Irish roots, her songs are passionate and moving, from protest songs to love ballads, her music has been described as mobile yoga. Great songwriting has been enhanced by teaming up with John Woolridge (Proud To Be Bermudian) a master arranger and gifted producer. Other well known local artists and back up singers contributed, including Neil Burnie and Eddie Wicks on Harmonica, Whency Woolridge on bass and electric lead, backup vocalist Latosha Codrington (this year's Bermuda Idol winner) Valerie Martins and Jennifer Osmond. Be Fabulous offers rolling piano ballads, a whimsical Caribbeans travel song, and even a girlie workout song with no apologies for the gender bias. This three year project which showcases how much talent there is in Bermuda is a keeper. Enjoy! and Stay Fabulous! Val
