ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A stomping EP. The five songs here, I guess, could be categorized as glam rock. I've never been great with the whole sub-sub-subgenre stuff. But yeah, generally glam rock. Sometimes maybe a bit too retro-sounding for its own good, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Since the last VC release, guitarist Dennis Van Crash has stepped up as vocalist as well, and they've added a new interesting guitarist in Miss Melvis. "Love Is Moving Underground" has a new wave kind of sound to it. "Do It In The Movies," besides having a great title and a drum solo, sounds like it could be the soundtrack to a movie. Maybe it was just the word 'movie' evoking this for me and I got thrown off. "Wishful Thinking" has a pretty cool guitar riff. My least favorite, I've gotta say, was "Heart Of Stone," just because I would have rather heard another original. No offense to The Rolling Stones or anything. Anyways, if you enjoy catchy, glam-based rock and roll, this would definitely be something you would like. 4/5 ~ Buzz Kompier - Lakewood Observer

As its title implies, the band’s newest album, Love, centers on a theme. “Each one of the songs has an element about love from a different perspective,” says Van Crash. ‘Do It In the Movies’ is about the innocent love of two young actors who fall in love while doing a movie. ‘Indicators’ is about having a relationship with somebody and then you get signs that it’s falling apart and going down the tubes on a downward spiral. ‘Wishful Thinking’ is about obsessive lustful desires.” Van Crash says he came across “Love is Moving Underground” when he went through some old DAT tapes. He decided it was worth redoing and the song almost sounds New Wave with its squiggly guitar work and synthesizer fills. ~ By Jeff Niesel - Scene Magazine

The group is now releasing a new album titled Love, their fourth release and a follow-up to last year’s Rock N Roll Junkie. They describe it as “chock-full of lightning songs about the many sides of love: Innocent love, disintegrating love, lustful love, the power of love and stone cold love.” ~ Cool Cleveland
