ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
VerseAtility II : In Stereo

This disc is a comparison of some of the best "underground" talent on the East Coast and the like. It boasts one of the illest Dj's in the VA area (Dj Vex), some ill graffiti (courtesy of Martian Lab media) and an ever popular greenery smokin' Talk Show Host (Big B of the Buddha Bros.). Presented by HorrorCity.biz and Frequency2 magazine is VerseAtility II : In Stereo Where Available. Take a listen for yourself. Let us know what you think.

This cd is an experiment in the artistry of hip-hop. The challenge is to find "good music" and at the same time each song and artist are all musically diverse. Basically every song on this disc is definitively dope yet equally different. Guarenteed you won't find another album out there like this.

We are aware that this effort may be considered a "smart" album in a world where hip-hop has been "dumbed down" for comercial purposes. That's ok. Our goal is to compare some rare gems that you may have missed with what is heard in regular rotation. It's been said that Hip-Hop is dead... We feel that sometimes you just have to dig a little deeper for the dope stuff.

Rubar said he '...took past experience's and modified it, not glorified it...'. Truth Enola said '...no love in the game, turn on the radio you hear the same ole same...'. Remember listening to that late nite radio station and loving a song because it was dope, not for story behind the artist. We want to bring that feeling back. Dicap penned a song called 'Think' which is one of the best songs I may have ever heard, period. This material is special. We would like to offer it to the world like a gift.
