Album Notes
The sophmore project of Vickie Woodard's Melodious Praise which features Vickie's original songs and an arrangement of Timothy Wright's "Trouble Don't last Always". The CD features the hit title track "Churchin" which has spread across gospel airwaves. The word and song title coined by Woodard, by her definition is the process that young people who grew up a preacher's kids, evangelist's kids, deacons kids, all can relate to by which they always found themselves in church, involved in church, around the church or on their way to church. The comical message and rhymes scheme has made it a favorite among gospel music listeners.
Other cuts on the album include: "Thank you Holy Ghost",-a moving ballad where testimony meets gratefulness. "What You've Done for Me" - a stirring solo followed by a simple chorus proclaiming the acts of God in our lives. "A Call to Worship"- a foot stomping- "doot a doot"- quartet style song that's sure to get you in the mood for praise!!!!
