Album Notes
Growing up I always found myself very rooted in music - specifically songwriting. Unfortunately, after moving across the country to pursue studying the sciences, I found my life had less room for this passion. As my first year wound down and summer approached I realised the opportunity that was rearing it's head. I needed to take the time I had and create tangible evidence that I had fallen in love with music. In the pits of my dorm room I created "The Blue Book Project".

The album, "The Blue Book Project", is based on a blue notebook that I use to write nearly everything down in order to keep my head on straight. Many of the songs from this album have appeared in this book along with to-do lists, journal entries, itineraries and my day-to-day random thoughts. This book shamelessly contains every part of me and that is what I wanted out of my album. Every song I chose represents some part of my life that makes me and well some I am less proud of, it makes me who I am and I could not give these parts up if I tried. I hope that you will listen to this album and see my life and find yourself in my struggles and my happiness.

This whirlwind of a project contains my laughter and tears, gut-wrenching nervousness and excitement. I am so proud of what I have done over a few months but cannot take all the credit. The people I found myself surrounded with this summer were beyond generous and incredibly supportive. From day one, they brought excitement and passion to this project. They supported my dream and kept me going when I felt as though I had dreams too large to hold.

As I said, I hope you listen and enjoy and find yourself in my songs.

From me, with love, to you,
