Factor This - EP

by Victor Steele

A song is an emotional photograph of you at a particular moment in time. Seize the moment. The truth flows better than any fiction (or lies) ever could, so write what's in your heart. I grew up singing rock music, so that's how my emotions manifest.

Album Notes
Love to sing, dance and act :) Was in a cover band at school and university, but am now finding my own sound. Trying to balance it with a career as a doctor in emergency medicine is taxing, but doable.

Comfortable in the limelight, but just as happy to kick back and blend in to create ambiance.

I write from the heart, as the truth flows better than any fiction (or lies) ever could. I told my singing teacher that it's easy to recognise when a song comes from the heart and when it comes from the bank. She agreed and said that the minute you think about making money is the minute you write a bad song. I agree entirely. But on the other hand, we've all go to eat....

If you're interested in where the songs come from, then they each have a link to my diary with the story behind each song. Feel free to check it out.

I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers, David Gray, Jack Johnson, Pearl Jam, Guns 'n' Roses, Nirvana, Michael Jackson and Lionel Ritchie (as well as all good salsa music). While I don't try and copy any of these, I'm told that these influences are very evident. I would love your opinion...
