Album Notes
If you took equal parts Whiskey, Motorhead, Sabbath, Maiden, mixed in a little WASP, then washed it down with some AC/DC you would have Viking Skull. Members of fellow british band, Raging Speedhorn formed Viking Skull in 2002 and the following year they released their first record "Chapter One". After top-notch press reviews they landed a spot on the Download Festival and the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards. In 2005 their second effort "Born in Hell" was released through the Grand Recordings label and the band was later invited to join Alice Cooper and Twisted Sister on tour but later cancelled because they were tired of dealing with "silly old men with egos". After sharing the stage in 2006 with such acts as CKY, Clutch and HIM - Roddy and Waldie parted ways with Gordon and Darren following an argument after a show in Amsterdam (a bottle of Absinthe didnt help matters much obviously.) Several months later, Roddy got Jules Cooper and Jess Margera to replace them, grabbed Waldie, and traveled to America to begin recording "Chapter Two" in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Chapter Two also features guest appearances from Reverend Jim of Fireball Ministry, the Brandywine Eel of Gnarkill, Unkle Matt & the Shitbirdz, and Chad I Ginsburg of CKY. As a CDBaby exclusive, every order placed in 2007 will feature a free Blackened Sunrise EP with 3 extra songs and a remix, as well as the Blackened Sunrise video directed by Bam Margera.

Finally, old school metal that IS Worthy!
Amazing. That's exactly what this album was and is. The only way to describe the sound is Motorhead meets CKY. And I've been a CKY fan for about 8 years now, so I thought it was awesome as fuck that Jess is the drummer and Chad made an appearance (not to mention mixed the album.). all in all, I recommend this album to ANYONE who loves old school rock/metal or newer stuff. BUY IT! You will NOT reget it!

Skull Fever
My 3rd Dose Of Viking Skull I'm still addicted!

See this band live! They're amazingly powerful and full of heavy metal energy
And buy their merch/Cd's to support them, I've spoken and hung around with them various times and they're a great bunch of guys and very friendly, usually you can catch them hanging around the public bar etc before they have to go on stage to play

As for this album, it's very very good, and definitely deserves more than 5 stars, MetalHammer gave Viking Skull 11 stars which has never been done ever before so good stuff!

Fecking amazing...

Splendid Noise
Fucking top notch, wasn't as instantly in love with this one as I was with the last two but after a few listens it had really grown on me. Can't wait to catch this band on tour (again).
